SENDING LECTURERS TO FOLLOW
TRAINING OF TRAINER (TOT) CHARACTER EDUCATION FOR NEW STUDENTS ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023

In order to provide character education for new students of Diponegoro University, the Department of Mathematics FSM sent several lecturers to participate in Character Education Training of Trainer (TOT) activities.The lecturer sent to the TOT Pendikar this time is Siti Khabibah, S.Si., M.Sc., R. Heri Soelistyo Utomo, S.Si., M.Si., Suryoto, S.Si., M.Si., Solikhin, S.Si., M.Sc., Hafidh Khaerul Fata S.Si., M.Si. and Dr. Moch. Fandi Anshori, S.Si., M.Si. This activity was organized by Diponegoro University in order to provide supplies for Character Education Assistant Lecturers for new students in the 2022/2023 academic year.

The speaker at the TOT Pendikar activity this time was Dr. Hastaning Sakti, M.Kes, Psychology Lecturer At Diponegoro University. He said in character education students will be given an understanding of” who I am ” (self Branding) in order to foster positive Self Branding, such as empathy, discipline, respect for others and dare to express. Understand “who we are ” to achieve complete competence, namely adaptive, tough intelligent and ethical. Understand the concept of” Merdeka Belajar”, how to be creative and innovative as well as achievement and enlightenment. Next is “Undip Jaya because of us”, where the students become smart and excel.
Dr. Hastaning Sakti also added, by participating in character education, it is expected that new students can love Diponegoro University by being an achievement inspirer and can develop and raise the name of Diponegoro University.
The activity, which was held for two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, August 2 and 3, 2022 at the Undip Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) multipurpose building, was lively and received a good response from the accompanying lecturers who will provide character education materials for new students. In accordance with the circular issued by Diponegoro University, character education activities for new students will be held for 3 days from Thursday to Saturday, August 18 – 20, 2022.
