On May 6–7, 2024, the undergraduate Mathematics program held its annual curriculum workshop at the Meeting Room of Hotel Aruss, Semarang. This year’s workshop focused on curriculum internationalization as part of the preparation for international accreditation. The event featured Dr. Naniek Utamu Handayani, an expert in accreditation, as a keynote speaker. Also present was Mr. Roso Kusumo Wardono, an alumnus and Director of PT. Treemas Solusi Utama, who delivered a presentation on the industry’s expectations for Mathematics graduates. This activity marked a significant step in strengthening the curriculum’s relevance to global demands and the professional world.

As part of the workshop agenda, faculty members and curriculum development teams engaged in group discussions to align learning outcomes with international standards and industry needs. These discussions produced several strategic recommendations, including adjustments to course structures, integration of soft skills and digital literacy, and the enhancement of global elements in teaching and learning. The outcomes of this workshop are expected to serve as a critical foundation for transforming the curriculum toward more competitive and internationally recognized accreditation.
