Profile

Brief History

Undergraduate Program of Mathematics at the Faculty Science and Mathematics Diponegoro University was established in October 21st, 1993 through the official decree by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia No. 0369/O/1993.

Vision

To be an advanced study program in national level and to have international reputation by 2025 in education, development and implementation of science, mathematics, technology, and social life.

Missions

  1. Provides graduates with fundamental mathematics concept for the development and implementation of mathematics in science, technology, industry and social.
  2. Conducts a high quality of learning to comply with the development and implementation of science, technology, industry and social.
  3. Develops mathematical research and implementation in science, technology, industry and social.
  4. Develop and share the implementation of mathematics problem solving.

Objectives

  1. Provides graduates who devote to God Almighty, have a good behavior and able to implement and develop mathematics in science, technology, industry and social in this global era.
  2. Provides graduates with a qualified knowledge about mathematics, supported by statistics and information technology to enhance their skills and competency.
  3. Develops logical, analytical, synthesis and objective mindset to solve a problem individually or in a group.
  4. Produces scientific research focused on problem solving in science, technology, industry and social aspects.

Targets

  1. To be the center of qualified mathematics study in its implementation and development in science, technology, industry and social aspects.
  2. Provides a conducive academic to enhance the learning process of mathematics to be effective and efficient.
  3. A qualified laboratory for mathematics research both theory and applied in science, technology, industry and social.
  4. A collaboration in education, research and community service with governmental and private institutions.
  5. A credible, transparent, accountable, fair and responsible study program.
